A selection of 2m span gliders. A large number of competitive gliders in the 2m class, are Firsts. The two man tow, used in the Millennium Cup, can exert tremendous launch stresses and give ballistic launches. Great fun.
A selection of 2m gliders at the Rebel Flying Club round of the Millennium Cup. When there is a bit of headwind, a single man tow is all that is required.
Klaus Weiss, the importer of Blejzyk kits, with his First+ Peter McGregor launches the First+ into a very stiff breeze at the local slope.
Bruce Robbins had the spectacular misfortune to hit the power lines with his Tragi. A quick way to spend hard earned cash. Slope Soaring can be a relaxing time, if you choose.
Andy Rolfe launches a PSS glider off the slope. EPP foam models are fast and manouvreable. Great for combat sessions.
The Kwarcinski Starling Pro coming in for a landing at the slope. Not much room for error. This type of landscape is perefect for generating slope lift.
A Vector flying wing, playing with a White Breasted Sea Eagle. Several HSL members now own one of these hollow moulded, high performance, Starling Pro gliders.
